I hit a deer last night on the interstate while on my way home from work.

Luckily, I saw it ahead of time and slowed down while it was still on the side of the road. Then it decided to jump right in front of me and I stood on the brakes. I was going around 30ish I think when I hit it. Awesome thing is: no damage! Only some fur stuck on my bumper!

That's lucky! Dads hit three deer with his f250, and no damage at all but the last one. It was a big 10pt that but a dent in the solid steel bumper lol

I tried looking for the deer after I hit it. But the grass is so tall and I didn't exactly see where it went. I think it was more of a wounding hit than a fatal blow since I had slowed down a good amount by the time I actually made contact.

I also replaced my air filter today after about 12,000 miles and 10 months of owning my Ecoboost. That thing was nasty! It looked like a bird's nest. All of the dirt roads, cotton wood trees, etc didn't help it any.

To get a body shop to do it was $400. I opted for a couple cans of krylon fusion so about $10. Here's a before and after. I just cleaned them up and did 3 coats of satin black. They are not fun to pull off though
