Here's just 2 pics. No neg. comments on the chevy, she's a restore in progress, obviously. lol.

Overall my girl handled beautifully. The 3.55 gears screamed a bit during starting a roll, but she had a load and I have 35" MT ATZ's (haven't been able to regear w/ the house purchase, but next month). Other than that, no problems. She passed w/ ease, handled the freeways, during rush hour go and sudden stop traffic beautifully. Tomorrow she goes to work again, this time no trailer, but still a load... post and pics coming as well.

LOVE MY FORD!

Default The Fence Pt 1

So Today me and the girl worked again. First we took the 20' car hauler back. Then we went to Lowes where we got goodies to build a fence at the new house. Here's a list of what went in the bed and no, I didnt remove my toolbox:

12 - 4"x4"x8'
20 - 2"x4"x10'
12 - quikrete 50lb
1 - 6 cu ft steel wheel barrel
1 post hole digger

Sorry no pics, but here is how it went. I put the 4x4's on the outside of the 2x4. Stacked the 4x4's 2 high, the 2x4's were stacked 4 high. All of this fit under the tool box to the front of the bed. I then stacked the quikrete on top of all the wood, directly in front of the toolbox. The wheel barrel went on top of the wood, and the bed extender was folded @ a 45^ w/ the barrel going through a row. I didnt tie down a thing, and everything was there when I got home. Truck didnt even sag with it. 600 lbs of concrete alone.

Another day, another reason I LOVE MY FORD

Look for part 2 tomorrow. I'll get pics this time

Default Stuck!

We went to work today. Nice weather, but the weekend's rain really softened things up... Good thing there's always lots of heavy equipment around to pull the trucks out.
