LOL I guess who ever built the map for the gps thought a straight line drawn across the river was easier than trying to draw the s shape track it takes due to the rivers current and where the landings are located.

Experimenting with different oils? Also, why are your oil changes so irregular?

I switched from mobile1 oil and filter because the filter lacked the anti drainback valve. That was at about 110k. Then I went back to factory syn. blend/filter for about 60K. From there till the end it’s MC Full Synthetic with OEM Filter changed every 5.5-6K. I know it wasn’t the greatest service schedule but I did my best. That’s why I posted it. I was interested to hear what people thought...

Never mind I see what you did. I didn't read your reply before posting this.

Went to the place where i get tires. Going to get a set of Michelin Defenders XLT MS. Won't be install until Friday though. They are a very popular place and not a chain store so it's not like I can stop in and just get them. Only happens if they happen to have an opening. Can't wait to get rid of these noisy Cooper AT3s.

What did I do? Sunday

got rid of the pollen and leaves of spring.
dumped the KN last year after 130,000 miles

zipped tied my throttle cables.
Cleaned the throttle linkage.

looked at it, thinking about what is next.

Yesterday I had my front struts replaced/w 1.75 level Bilstien 5100's, and today was the alignment. It was out a little. Love the ride and slight lift.
