No pics, but yesterday we left early for my son's apartment with a U-Haul auto hauler, and hauled his old car back to the dealer for service. 100 miles down, 80 back with the car (5,200 lbs total), only about 1 or 2 mpg loss if anyone's counting. Then filled the almost-empty gas tank. It was nice to not even think about filling the tank before leaving -- 3/4 was plenty.
Today we just ran one errand to help my wife with a project. Tomorrow, the tailgate will be part of that project.

I waived goodbye as my wife drove it to work...
i detailed her car the past three days and she didn't want to take it out in the rain
Three step paint correction...well more like six steps.

Dropped the spare. Checked pressure. Gave the rim an additional couple of coats of POR-15. Happy with the results from last year. When I got the truck the rim was completely rust covered on both sides. Almost a year later, the only rust was where the rocks and sand sandblasted it on the side facing the road (on the side that was towards the rear), under the dirt on top where it held moister and a few other spots. All in all, I'm happy with how it stood up because most of the rim still looked well covered.
I was going to sprays some undercoating in the corners of the cab but, have a headache and that was about all I could stand to do. Will do that some other day.

30,065 miles on my 2016 XLT warranted a tire rotation today. On other vehicles I've just done a front/rear swap, keeping the same direction of rotation. For this truck, though, and to minimize tread cupping even with excellent shock absorbers, a rearward-cross tire rotation is recommended. This is the third Rotation for this set of tires that I installed at 16.500 (when I bought this truck) and tire wear looks good.
Too breezy for an oil change. I'll have to bust out the new 4 Ton floor jack and the four 6-ton jackstands again tomorrow morning so I can get at the oil filter to fab an aluminum drip tray specifically for oil filter changes. That, and 8 quarts 5W-30 Motorcraft Synthetic Blend every 5000 miles. My truck's use falls under severe service with extended engine idling and some off-road driving, hence the every-5K oil change intervals.
