Been chauffeuring my wife around for days since we had the accident almost two weeks ago. The rental ran out on Monday. We finally found a car to replace the that was totaled.

Now if I were to accidentally tap into the back of a car, or maybe a wall, then yes the grille guard would protect my front end, but only at a very slow speed. It's all for looks for me. I don't own a ranch where I would need it to open a gate or anything, it's strictly just for show.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that I can use the bottom bar of the Ranch Hand as a step for working in my engine bay. Adding oil after an oil change, spark plugs, detailing, etc... so there's that haha.
That's pretty much what I used mine for, looks, kept bushes out of the intercooler and made for a nice platform to work off of. There are times it would be nice to push stupid people out of the way with, but that is just asking for trouble. I even made a seat to clip onto the top bar for working on the Diesel, came in quite handy when doing oil changes or other maintenance.

Default Spring Break

Drove through Rocky Mountain national park with my wife. Looking for wildlife, got back to Estes Park, found out all of the wildlife (elk) were in town eating peoples lawns.

Went to the Physical therapist about my shoulder.
Got evaluated and some electro shock therapy on it.
Then got a carry out battery operated pain patch !
Ran a couple errands, then went to dinner at my Aunts house.

Rotator cuff or soft tissue? My left shoulder cuff has been acting up to the point I have to struggle to raise my left arm. Imagine changing tires with a shoulder like that! Stupid damned swollen lug nuts!

I had 2 bone spurs that were cutting 2 tendons.
The frayed tendons damaged the rotator cuff, they had to remove and reattach one tendon and repair the other one.
Then repair the rotator cuff..... was 12-16 weeks without the use of my arm...... then a yr. of rehab.
Never got full strength back in it....and re- injured it about 3 weeks ago.
I'm hoping that it a soft tissue problem.....I'm concerned about scar tissue or that the bone spurs grew back and I'll need another surgery.

Was supposed to go for surgery 4/3, for total shoulder joint replacement. Once I found out the restrictions, I said screw it, at this time. Too life changing for a 67 year olde. NO narcotics either for pain. Osteoarthritis, it's a bitch getting olde.
Good luck Phil.
