Changed flat tire, on the way home from seeing the movie "IT" and picked up a nice chunk of metal. Tire is destroyed, only 2k on it.

We moved the rest of my son's apartment furnishings. He's a bibliophile, and those books are heavy!

Could not avoid a small object kicked out by a car driving the other way, heard it hit under the truck once and saw if bounce down the road behind me.
When I got home I noticed what looked like over spray on the tailgate...looked closed and sure enough it's pink paint..only on the back of the truck.
Looked under the truck and found out what I hit...my guess is when they were marking the roads for construction someone forgot a can of their paint...I am told they use pink for measuments...looks more like pepto bismol....

Two passes of rubbing compound and wax on the rear and a can of undercoating and she's back to new....

LOL^^^^ Luckily that's all that happened, sort of humourus if ya think about it.
I ran over a tube of white RTV a while back, took a bit to peel that crap off.

Began running wires to install amp and subs. There was water under the floor/kick panel??? It had rained the night before and everything else inside that i could see was dry. Very curious how it got in there.

What year is your truck? '04-'08 had issues with the third brake light leaking, I had to reseal mine, I could hear it in the channel.

Delivered this 800 pound skid to our sister plant. Nice 8-9 hour round trip. Through Atlanta lunch traffic both ways.

Hawkster:

Brand new 17 xlt. And like I said everything else was completely dry, just saw the water after we pulled up the plastic to hide the wire on the rear passenger side.

Ran to Moms condo and grabbed a couple bags of garbage and recycling.
We were in D.C. over the weekend, and with the 90+ temps it was smelling pretty bad when we got back last night
Today was my garbage day, so worked out well.
