Still doesn't tell me what caused it. Were the plugs changed recently and not torqued correctly? Did the threads get antiseize on them? Broken plug to begin with? All these things can cause a plug to back out and blow out. Somewhere someone screwed up.

Those engines are known for it. I'm under the impression that the Ford recommended torque spec is not "correct" and this is the root cause.

Got the 02s backseat cleared out a good bit. Ironically, Had a comment about how messy the truck was today.
You think that few bags of stuff and whatnot was messy, don't go near the 04.....that's all I gotta say about that haha
