Did A spare tire cable lube and looked at pesky fuel module that I have been reading so much about. Knock on tin here read (ford) I haven't had any running issues ,just trying to stay ahead of game. I was concerned because what I found looked nothing like others pic. This might help you if you find something like this . looks like a improved module all plastic
thanks ford fourm

Went for some fishing - not as good a day as I'd hoped for that

Went with granddad to pick up a new window for our dining room

Then went for a quick cruise

picked up this 57 Fairlane in the 265k mile 6.0 we bought.

has a 312 and a cruise-o-matic. car really isn't in terrible condition, actually pretty great for it's age.

Nice, what are the plans for it?

Painted housings on my stock lights, added 2.5" leveling kit last week. Made a big difference

just get it running at this point. then sell or start restoring it. My dad wants to do a 460/c6 combo. I would rather do a 300/6 and 4r70w combo, and turbo the 300 with standalone fuel injection. But if the old 312 runs fine, and somebody wants to buy it....well then it'll be someone elses project

LOL, That 312 was a pretty decent runner in it's day. My Dad had a '56 Victoria with that, man, I wish I had that one now. Hopefully yours will run fine. That 460 would be OK, but I think a 351 Cleveland would be "very" cool, with a 4 speed manual, and 3:91/4:10 gears. But, I'm dreaming out loud, the '57 was a very good looking car. Congrats on the find.

with the 04: went for a drive with mom, an a few errands, then went to her favorite place:
