(1) What did you and your truck do today?

Pulled out an investment to give the PO the rest of the money for the02 and put down more money on the trucks, which in turn frees up even more money to put down on the trucks.
Changed the oil on the 02, a tad overdue. Tsk Tsk Tsk Tsk but things get in the way. Have to try to do the next few early. Put the leftovers in to top up the 04, which is close to change time but oil is still unusually golden, so she can wait a few extra miles.
Soon gotta run an errand or 2.

Mt F-150 took me back to school! However, it's a commuter campus so it's not like I had to move anything.
I was actually hoping to have my Mustang back as parking is often at a premium.

We went offroading today!
Got stuck in the mud a couple of time, got pulled up once and managed to sort it out my self the second time!
Had a blast as always!!!
I got a clip also, will post it later...

picked up dad's recent purchase with him and my uncle. I wanted to use ole blue for this job. nope, gave up arguing. dad was way too insistent with 4x4 just in case (argument invalid) and the extra turning radius the real hitch gives. that point taken, but now I got some fresh scratches on my nice truck
17.5' fiberglass tri-hull, 60 hp 3 cyl mariner engine. 500 bucks later. spent a couple months sunk in fresh water after being swamped in the boat house thanks to some less than ideal weather. PO's own words "I'm not mechanical at all". that's been responsible for a lot of good deals over history . engine won't be much work at all to get going. biggest job will be tearing out the moisture trapping carpet and replacing the wooden floor. and nicer seats are almost desirable to the point of need.
could use a cleaning and paint wouldn't hurt but a solid boat. controls etc alone dwarf that $500 quickly, even if the boat and engine were a writeoff.

Not bad at all Zach. Did the trailer come with it? That's worth more than 500 as well.

nope, borrowed that one off my great uncle. only trust ours for taking the blue boat to be launched and hauled up each year. I should restore it, it'd be nice to travel with the boat. could use more practice backing trailers along with it I noticed myself doing a little better with that today though.
