Installed my holster, and extra mag carrier in the truck today, I have a feeling I'm going to need a different way to get the velcro to stick, but it seems to be holding pretty good!

It's an old kydex holster of mine with 2 pieces of 1x1 pine and a 2x3 piece of oak attached to it. Velcro stapled to the oak then molding tape and the other Velcro attached to the center console.

Mag carrier is the same way.

2nd oil change. amazing how much cleaner and easier it is after you learn the little tricks. I installed a fumoto valve last time, which is amazing, and just cracking the filter so it drips right thru skid plate 'square'. used about 100 less paper towels

also, filled up (19 gal) for $37 (1.99/gal)

Got back from visiting family in NYC early this morning. First road trip with the truck and here are my results:

I reset the trip about 2 or 3 hours into the drive and let it run until I was back in my driveway. On the way down the truck was reporting 13.5 - 14.3 L/100 kms (16.5 - 17.4 mpg) @ ~80 mph. Overall average was 15.3 L/100 kms which is about the same number in mpg.

My mom and sis loved the comfort and space of the truck. The only things I found that got mildly tiresome after several hours was the wind noise (not sure if it's the window deflectors) and road noise from the Duratracs. Around town I don't even notice it but on a long trip it starts to give me a slight headache.

Drove to St. Paul to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Awesome show!
