if that bed liner chips, it can start to hold moisture (and salt if used in your area) against the metal. I say get her cleaned up and oil/krown/rust check everything.

I was actually thinking of coating them and then oiling them, to boot.

oil or mixture thereof works. storebought "rustproofer" etc is a joke, don't go handy.

Spent the day lubricating all pivot points under the truck/winter prep. Dropped trans pan and replaced trans oil and filter. It's easer to do it now rather in November when the snow blows.

Finally got my Tonneau cover installed. That's it, I'm done. (Until I win the lotto. Or get some overtime. Or........)

Here's a couple of crappy cell pics. I didn't think about snagging any until a couple of different times later in the day. (Including being too lazy to go back downstairs this afternoon after getting home, haha).

Finally got some accessories installed and my truck washed. Picked up an Extang Trifecta, Flowmaster Force II cat-back, Steelcraft 304 stainless bull bar, and a set of Hella 500ff's. Hoping to get to wire the lights tomorrow...

I have an Extang Trifecta. Great cover. I did have to put a piece of 1/4" X 3/4" stick on weather stripping on the bed behind the cab as there was a slight water leak there. Been through 2 long winters and still looking like new. No more leaks.

. Keep me posted and let me know when you're ready, what you're looking for and how much you want to spend. We know quite a few people around our area and may be able to help.
