(1) What did you and your truck do today?

Nothing, mine is still at the local Ford dealer getting insurance work performed for flood damage. Was originally supposed to get it back today but not looking like that is going to happen until Monday. I never thought I could miss a vehicle so much, been 2 weeks today that I been without my truck.

My other box, was a birthday gift from my dad when I turned 13 or 14. I was pissed at the time, ha ha. A 2 tier Craftsman box loaded with their top of line complete mechanics tool set and my grandfathers old tools as well. A tool box wasn't even remotely close to being something I wanted. Then, when I turned 16 and got my first car (AMC Cherokee) I started to see the value in it. Now, I wouldnt trade it for the nicest Snap On box made, means the world to me. So it sits inside in my basement workshop nice and cozy.

Would you believe I picked it up for $300 off of Craigslist? Thing is in perfect condition complete with drawer liners.
Thought it was going to be a shady deal till I pulled into the neighborhood he lived in (very nice). Then even made more sense when his garage door went up and I see brand new Snap On boxes sitting in there. His phone must have went off a hundred times with people calling him as we were loading them in my truck.
Def. one of my best CL scores.

OT but one of my most prized possessions is my grandfathers box and a bunch of tools I inherited. My dad and uncle (now both dead) went through it first and made sure I got tools I needed. I always say a little thank you to them when I use one of those tools. My dads tools are mostly sitting in a storage unit awaiting transport to my 2 sons. That will start in June.
