Put the leveling kit on. About 38 3/4 rear fender front about 38 3/4. 2" level was perfect. New tires this week. Upgrading to a 275 or 285 from the 265

Been there too. That was a sad day back in January. Opened the window put her on my lap and let her feel the breeze. Just too weak to get her head out the window.

Planted beans so the '08 did a little seed carrying duty. Set the remainder of the pallet in the back of the pickup and headed to the field we were working on to relieve the old man so he could go grab a bite to eat. Had a little time to kill so I did a little math. 1800lbs of seed sitting on a pallet puts my '08 very slightly nosed down - to level. Then looked at my door sticker again...15??lbs. 1/2 ton pickups are fairly useless. We're done with corn & beans. Just a little oats/alfalfa ground to help the father in law out with then its time to work cattle and get them dispersed. Think I'll spend the day in old blue tomorrow.

That's too bad, but I bet he enjoyed life with you. Too bad our best friends have shorter lives (usually) than most of us. I never could have a dog as a kid, but got our first one the day we were married 40 years ago. We've had two more since then, taking time between them. Our second dog died 10 years ago, but we broke down and got a new one 2 years ago this past April. Kids are grown and gone, but we have a very spoiled dog...

Best of luck to you.

Frank

New wmember. lilcrazyone's story about his friend brought back memory from 5 years ago. My friend was so sick she also couldn't raise her head up. My wife drove me in the back of our F-150 and the Doctor caame out and gave her a shot and she died in my lap in the back of thew pick up.

To the subject: Finished out tracing and hooking up bad vacuum lines.Preparing for emmissions test.

My truck got a lot of love this weekend. Washed it yesterday and today I finally got around to spray painting the faded out front wheel well liners.

Here's a little before during and after:

Yeah, over spray is a biatch. I went to look at a Bronco this weekend and the guy repainted the front clip,he didn't mask off the headlights and covered them with over spray. You should paint your grill while you're at it,it makes a big difference!

Better to have put on too much paper, than to pull it all off and then realize you didn't use enough!
