The manual says lots of things strictly for the purpose of them covering they're butts. As much as we all love our trucks, how many of us do daily bulb and fluid checks. Yes, I'm sure some idiot could find a way to damage a truck lifting it on the diff, but if you have the slightest bit of care, you'll be fine. I'd be more worried about carelessly not using jack stands

So I put the Sylvania zXe headlight bulbs in today, what a disappointment. Can't even tell a difference from the stock bulbs. At least I only paid $40 on Amazon instead of $60 at the parts store

Should've gone with PUTCO mirror white bulbs. At first I was hesitant at only $30 a pair, but I gotta say, I love mine. Whiter, and definitely brighter (yes I know there's a difference) at range. Only had them a few months so I can't speak for reliability or durability though.

Drove through the woods then through a field then through a small mud pit to get my trail camera photos to see what I'm gonna try and shoot tomorrow. Gotta love deer season. However in the process i did find my 4wd was not working.... Lovely to know will your going through the back 40 with no one around.luckily it was a fuse for the transfer case.

Dang it, I actually looked at the Putco bulbs too. The Sylvanias claim to be the brightest and the whitest and have an HID look... Not true at all, they are nothing special.

I talked to someone on here who sells bulbs about buying some, and they tried to steer me in the HID direction, even though that's not what I wanted. After seeing a million people complain about how bad HID's look without projectors I really didn't want them. I told him this and he still kept on about the HID's, well that was enough for me. If I tell you what I want, don't tell me I want something else. I hate the way aftermarket HID's look in a standard housing. Guess I'll stick with the Sylvanias until they blow out

I was really skeptical of the PUTCO cause they mostly make stick on trim and chrome steps but the guy assured me they were really good. I have to agree, I'm very happy with them. I have to admit though, one of the fogs was bad, but I plugged them in at the shop to check them first so they immediately replaced them.

Maybe I'll get them for the fogs then... I am not pulling these darn headlights out again. Geez, what a stupid design

We went and picked up another boat. This one is an 18' Lowe with a 75hp Johnson. Soon to be completely stripped down and turned into this years duck boat.
