I am not a fan of suction cup phone holders either on the dash or window. My little cubby hole was replaced with a trailer brake, and I am not a fan of keeping my phone in the cup holder. I made this little do-hickey out of sheet metal and plasti dipped it. Holds my phone flawlessly. Perfect spot in my opinion. $15 total with tons of plasti dip left and enough scrap sheet metal to make like 4 more.

Hey, that's a great looking holder and a perfect spot for sure. I gotta make one. How is it held on?

Thanks. It's held on by (2) small pieces of two way 3m tape attached to the base that's shoved into that little crevice area. You've got to make the bottom brace underneath it to allow unit to be supported by the area above the vent or else the weight of the phone will cause it to bend down and wobble when moving.
A truly custom job based on the size of your phone and phone case.

I'm getting these next weekend. I have the old Destination LE's and the warranty is taking 50% off the cost of the new LE2's. How have those been working for you? My job will now have me driving a lot so I want a good street/highway tire. I loved my LE's so I'm hoping the LE2's are as good.
