Call me and I will give you a couple of Idea's on what has worked for me.
First of all you want to start with a below invoice price before any incentive apply or any trade applies.
My 2008 Ford edge Started at 1500.00 below invoice. Then whatever discounts that were offered by Ford and dealers.(only 2000.00)
My 2008 ford F150 started with 3700.00 below dealer invoice (very rare)
then the 6000.00 incentives came into play.
Now I recieved these type of prices from Three dealers on the Edge. but only one had the car. and I was lucky because that same dealer beat the other two by 1000.00.
The truck I played two dealers. and on the truck I was standing on one lot making a deal, but I called the other dealer and told them of the deal I was getting. I asked if they could beat the deal enough to warrant me driving away. This meant driving off when I was in the middle of a deal. I told the Manager "I would be stupid not to" I got a 3000.00 better deal. That was a big saving for a simple phone call after I had the figures from the first dealer.
Of course I had already been to both dealers looking. I already had both phone # and contacts. I wouldn't deal with a sales person or manager that was full of bull or one that wouldn't listen.

ya, i went to galpin and they didnt come up with the price on the mustang since they had to find one with everything I wanted on it. They did appraise my truck though, offered me $20,000 at first, then raised it to $21,000 a few days later when they called asking what i wanna do. The funny thing is they said $21000 and he knew thats low but they cant give me what i wanted (~$30,000) cuz thats probably what they would try to sell it for. If they really want to make a sale then they can do better than $21000 and make thier money off the sale and not off buying my truck for cheap and selling it for how much i want

Friday:
Loaded up the bed w/ all the chopped limbs from the backyard and ran them to the "chipper".
Next, went to Lowes and picked up 720 lbs topsoil so I could start reworking the back yard landscaping. I figure I'll need a heft load this friday to finish, but here's the end result thus far. And yes, I did clean up that crap in the back ground lol.

Went to Ford dealership and had our cat convertor replaced under warranty. Then we went to lunch and raced a Nissan V-8 Titan stop light to stop light and WON! Then after work I took it easy on her and rolled her through the mexican car wash near where I live. She deserved it!

F150 and I installed a tach she gets emotional when I install things, got a good zap today. Got it in, then she got a temper and ran out of gas in the driveway. I think she is just eagerly awaiting her new touch screen DVD player.

Well I finally got around to installing my light bar and Light Forces and PIAAs so I took her offroading with the new lights . May seem small to some, but this is something I've been saving up for a while and so I'm proud of her.

Went to work. Drove home. Not all that exciting. But I did see this dbag in a civic that was speeding while weaving in and out of traffic like he was 2 fast and 2 furious. He came real close to wrecking with this other car. Me and another F150 put a rolling road block on him for a couple miles. The guy was pissed, gave me the finger when the other F150 had to turn.
