Good choice of tires! This will be the third winter with mine on the other truck.

Good to know that you've also had luck with them. All my buds with trucks love the Duratracs. I noticed a bit of road noise coming up the highway but not enough for concern. I also investigated the BF All-Terrain T/A's but the reviews both online and from friends seems too mixed for me.

Keep working those trucks!

It's called "Green Gem" it looks black in at night and green in sunlight.

Thanks....Gem seems to be like Guard, it comes and goes. I'm pretty sure Green Gem was available on the 13th generation a few years ago.

I did my own real life comparison, may have been flawed, but it made me a believer.
2012 F150, 4X4, 3:55 open 315/70/17 BFG
2004 Ranger, RWD, 4:10, open the first winter, LSD the second, until now 265/75/16 DuraTracs, LRC
The BFG's left a lot to be desired, they loaded up snow, weren't as good on ice. I always parked in the same spot at work, with a slight downhill that I always backed into. Just walked right out with the Ranger with an open diff at that time, had to use 4X4 with the 150 and BFG's. Just a couple comparisons.
Now, I've got even crappier tires on my '17 150. 4X4, 3:55ELD, Hankook, [handicrap] 275/55/20, AT/m
As it is as of last winter, that little Ranger did MUCH better than the 150. I can go places with it, that I have to use 4X4 with the 150.
If I didn't have this '17 set up as a street truck, it would have DuraTracs as well.

do I get a new truck in exchange? probably need a commercial permit to take that much to the dump hahaha

I still got a few loads of my own yet to go, some people suggest burning it but I'm not taking the risk after the forest fires we've had this year. Whats actually suitable for furnace is another thing, but the thorn bushes and twigs can go off to the dump.

LOL, most of us have free brush disposal. We have quite a few powerplants around here that burn wood, shredded tires, sawdust/chip mixes. I wish they took corrugated boxes, I have to haul those over to a neighbor with one of those wood burning outside boilers.

haha, that makes stuff real easy. Our power plant is oil fired. The dump is free, but there's frequency limits (ambiguously worded and probably not enforced, mind you).

there is a local spot they have a bonfire around this time for a holiday where you can leave brush, but that's only for a short period. I didn't think about it last weekend

definitely keeps me busy when I have the chance to do it, takes hours to get a full load in the truck. Got to carry it 100-200 feet or so, and gotta skillfully make use of all the space, which results in a tangled mess when unloading time comes

I think she's a BorderHeeler? Whatever she is, she's a chunk lol...can't seem to get her to lose weight. I did not get her as a puppy. She belonged to my ex wife who never came back for her. The one good thing I got out of that marriage! She stays inside at night, but during the day she needs someplace warm or at least out of the wind. I just moved and didn't have a good place for her, which was fine until it starts turning colder. She loves her new house though.
