Bare hands?!?!?!

That's because he's NFLDFORDMAN! and they broke the mold when they made the last of men like him.

Remove wheel weights and replace with the ceramic *****, inside the tire.

Like SCORGE needs moar bawlz.

Well, that's a relief. I figgr'd that stuff'd be some sort of liquid goo. I still can't wrap my head around something you pour into your tire that maintains a perfect wheel/tire assembly balance. But, you guys say it works and I ain't gwainnah argyew.

IN OTHER NEWS...

I'm in a dealer rental, a 3.3 liter V6 '18 F150 SuperCrew with 150 miles on it. My '16 5.0 Cai-yoate is in the shop for a misfire between 1500- 2000 rpm. Could be plugs, could be coils, could be a mixture thing due to an evap emissions deal but I've already replaced the Purge Control Valve with $ out of pocket thinking I could avoid the whole dealer thing.

I tell ya, this lil 3.3 NA V6 gits along fine, and would probably haul a >5000 lb trailer all day long. If you want the 6 speed, I think this is about the only engine offering you'll get it with in an '18. If I needed a second truck... I'd be all over this tidy, economical configgerashyn.

Bought a radar detector today (Uniden R3). In all likely hood it was probably a waste of $430, but luckily I have 15 days to return it if I don't like it. Supposedly laser is rare in my state and it's mostly K and Ka bands (which is good). This unit can detect laser, but by the time it detects it, you've already been hit so it doesn't matter, and that hold true for any detector. Anyone else running a detector? What are your impressions?

The last speeding ticket I got was about 25 years ago, had a real fancy all band and laser detection and didn't go off even when the cop walked out behind the bushes into the street to wave me over. When I got home I tossed it up against a concrete wall and swept the pieces up for the trash. Yeah I was speeding and the radar detector was working, he showed me the screen on the radar gun and sure as hell it nailed me exactly to the mph. When I say working what I mean is it was plugged in and the power light was lit. From then on I simply do the speed limit,

Haven't had a ticket since.

Haha I'm with you on that one, only true way to not get a ticket. I just kept seeing the hype on the R3 and it's long range detection and thought I'd give it a try, but most people (and I agree with them) say it's pretty much a gimmick. I have a 3 hour drive on Wednesday to NH where I'm sure I'll be passing a bunch of cops so we'll see how that goes

Thanks for posting that. I know it, now you know it (in a supercrew no less), but from reading the posts on these boards many on here will think you are talking out your azz.
