Wow...now that is a lot of front end protection, very nice.

Protection from what? May cause more damage than without if he hits a big enough deer. Looks nice, had one on my 99 F350, and found that it will slam into the hood of I hit something hard enough.

Holds up to 25 lbs. Pretty strong. I used some weather strip double backed tape like is used on vent shades and body trim for a little extra grip to the console, the screws they supplied just didn't seem like they would be enough.
.
Link to the one you bought? Been trying to decide how I want to mount one in the truck

Thanks Triton07, but I believe acdii is right. If I were to hit something at a high enough speed (probably anything over 20-30 I would guess), my front end probably won't fair as well with the grille guard. Now if I were to accidentally tap into the back of a car, or maybe a wall, then yes the grille guard would protect my front end, but only at a very slow speed. It's all for looks for me. I don't own a ranch where I would need it to open a gate or anything, it's strictly just for show.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that I can use the bottom bar of the Ranch Hand as a step for working in my engine bay. Adding oil after an oil change, spark plugs, detailing, etc... so there's that haha.

Today I rolled into the gas station and filled up 35.1 gallons, oops. 791 miles on tank, didn't quite make it to the 800 mile club (but could have easily!)

Watched the fourth Nor'easter this month dump more snow on us. This is getting ridiculous.

Amazon Amazon
Comes with a couple wire shelf hangers for pistols also, holds the .380 ok but that 1911 makes it sag pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend the hangers but love the magnet. Oh and I misspoke about weight rating on magnet, it holds up 43 lbs not 25.
