150 seems pretty high, considering the size of the lug wrench that comes with the truck. I mean, I could see 60-80, but 150 would be a bear to loosen.

EDIT: Well I'll be, it seemed too high to believe but 150 is it!

Strange thing is that I just changed a flat yesterday, and was able to remove the lug nuts with the lug wrench, which was a good thing.

They were tight, but not so bad that I couldn't budge them. I have no idea of the ft/lb but I tried to tighten them about the same.

Would be hard for anyone weighing less than 150 to tighten them to 150 ft lbs or loosen them if they were that tight. I'm a big ol country boy so NBD.

Maybe I'm just overestimating what 150 ft/lbs feels like. Probably. I suppose I can drag out the torque wrench and get an idea...

Tomorrow. Tonight, sleep calls...

Default Carbon Fiber Antenna

The long stock antenna finally broke off from all the branches offroading. Got a short replacement.

I have read that Ford OEM lug nuts have an issue with splitting, I have not personally experienced any (neither on my '04 or my '14) but many have replaced the OEM with after market.

I filed a complaint with the NHTSA over my near death experience when my EPAS failed after Ford failed to recognize the defect or assist with the repair.

Had it for a year to this day. Decided to wash it inside and out. Even though it's going to rain 1-3 inches tomorrow, I wanted to get all the salt off of it. Plus it's not like the inside will get dirty from the rain if I don't drive it.

Also loaded up my summer wheels/tires to drop them off at my buddy's storage unit. Had to use a ramp to get them up there because I have them wrapped up and they weigh 117 lbs a piece lol

Put some 15% on the fronts of the 18 today. Wish it was a tad darker.
