After 288k miles I have finally decided to start getting serious about finding a new(er) truck.
Stopped by the local dealer and he had me take a 2012 FX4 Eco SCab over night so I got to take it to work on roads I drive on a regular basis, never done that before.

I like the truck and all but the ride seemed different, almost like I could feel some give or tweek in the cab. I know I am used to the SCrew but I have to wonder if it's because there is no center column in the SCab....and the size of those front doors...that eco certainly has all the power one needs, but I am so used to hearing my 5.4 exhaust......

Still looking and as is my nature I will still be looking in 3 months...

Although there is this...slightly over what I like to pay but damn...

Found out my fuel selector valve on my 1982 f-150 was back leaking the front tank into the back tank. (back tank has a big hole in it). I ordered a 3 port brass fuel tank valve and mount it on the floor by the driver seat end of problem !. I squeezed the fuel closed from the rear tank till my valve arrives tuesday.

Default Modified DeeZee tailgate assist for SuperCrew

Long story. Stripped the T50 bolt. Tried hand impact, straight jaw locking pliers, pipe wrench etc. finally bought V jaw channel locks and they worked well.
Had a SeaBee break three bits drilling the hole in the plate.
