(1) What did you and your truck do today?

Just a little on the bottom edge of that plastic piece below the bumper, took a pizza slice shape cut widest end about 2" on each side. You would never notice it unless laying down under and looking right at it. Sawsall took longer to get out of the case than the actual cutting.

Sorry for the thread jack, back to today's news!
Today I washed the truck and made some progress on the latest Hydro-dip project. I messed it up the first round (pic below), but re-dipped today it came out good. I'll post up the final results once installed.

My 2011 xl with running boards installed and the filler panel above bumper painted with Rustoleum Peel Coat Silver (like plastidip). I think it gives the truck a higher end look without the expense of buying the smooth paintable panel.

Looks like it matched pretty good. Good job.

Looks awesome man, I'd really like to try this someday when I'm feeling ambitious. My front door trim pieces are painted black, but I haven't felt like doing the rear doors yet. Had to wait all winter after I did the front pieces and just lost interest lol. I really need to re-do the fronts and sand them smooth to remove the texture or something. Kind of bothers me. Some day it'll get done!
