The Ford Dealer had a Truck Show & Shine today! I decided to enter my 2011 Pale Adobe Eco. Didn't win any Trophies but I did win one of the BIG door prizes, they drew my number and I won a set of four Good Year Tires of my choice, valued at $1000-1200!! Was well worth the 40minute drive to take part!!

DAMMIT MAN!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!! That door prize is worth more than any trophy.:th umbsup:
That's a pretty good idea from the dealer, it would be cool if mine did something like that. Win or lose, it would still be fun.

Took a trip to the local "you pull" junkyard to pick up a Homelink module. Found one in an '01 Lincoln sun visor for $5. Then went to The hardware store to buy linseed oil and finally to the auto parts store for some interior panel removal tools.
Once home, I removed the Homelink module from the old visor, confirmed proper operation, and installed into the visor of my truck, wired from the lights at the center console. Now I have no need for 3 separate garage door openers 😁. Overall, I am very pleased with the results, and an extremely functional mod for only $5! The most difficult parts of the mod was the disassembly of my visor.
After the Homelink install, I applied boiled linseed oil to all the plastic exterior trim.

Discovered that I have the too common rear window leak and that non-Ford dealership did not reset TPMS when rotating tires.

Yep, this the second year the dealer has done this event. I missed last year but certainly took part yesterday. It's not my regular dealer in my town but in the city about 40mins away. They are owned by the same group and have two locations (mine and the city). They are very good to their customers! It was a blast just taking part, as you say, win or lose. Thanks

Made annual trek to family camp. Only our youngest (21) came with us this year. Think he wanted to spend time with the old folks before he ships out for boot camp.

280k miles on this truck..she just purrs going down the freeway.
