I know the box has some packing material...but a big tv anyway...great photo...I hope to get back to Alaska in June...Uncle Henry bought a 2014 new left over F150 back in the spring. Its a XLT...loaded, back up cam, heated mirrors, ect. He's right there in Anchorage also. He barely uses it. Has 2k on it 7 months.

It was, dare I say, "hot" here in Massachusetts today... I took advantage of this incredibly strange weather and painted the gray door trim pieces that I ruined a few weeks ago. I had some gloss black laying around so I tried that a few weeks ago, looked terrible.

Stripped it all off, sprayed them with adhesion promoter, sprayed them with duplicolor vinyl & fabric paint - matte black this time. Very content with how it turned out this time. There are some imperfections (tiny chips) in the plastic from the previous owner that sort of stand out a tiny bit when you really look at it, but it's not too too noticeable. I wish I could've sanded it down to get rid of the texture of the pieces and just have it be smooth, but I just didn't have time... We don't get 60-70 degree days in December like we did today so I had to get it done quickly before all of the family stuff.

Merry Christmas!

Wonder how the duplicolor will hold up. When you say trim pieces are you referring to the outside or inside? Pictures would be nice too.

The pieces above the armrest.

The lighting kind of gives it a strange wavey look depending on the size of the picture... for some reason here you can't see any waves, but in the picture album I took it from it does but whatever. Either way it doesn't have that, it's surprisingly smooth and even. I'll install them tomorrow and see how they look.

The one on the top is the one that has the little chips in it, not sure what the previous owner did to it lol. Can really only see them when you look at them head-on. Probably won't be too noticeable when they're on the door again... I guess I could've used a high build/filler primer or something now that I think of it, but oh well. Not trying to win any beauty contests.

Went and picked up a generator at 0600 this morning. I've been without power since 0310 Christmas Eve. Feels damn good to have heat back, and no frozen pipes. Thanks El Nino!!

I second that! Love mine. Look like they're part of the truck.
