(1) What did you and your truck do today?

Gave it a "quick" detail for 2.5 hours. And then an hour or so later did my first burnout in it and got rubber all over the passenger side bed side... Kinda disappointed in the"one wheel spin control". Not disappointed in the effortless burnout though. Think I may be switching out the electric locker for a limited slip if I regear.

Got promoted to Lieutenant the other day. Even got to have my dad pin my badge. Was a good day.

Took it to the hospital to get stitches in the hand, but that was yesterday so I'm cheating.
My first truck ever
It's my first truck ever and my 97 F150 Standard Cab 4.2 V6 5 speed had the stereo installed today I installed a Kenwood KDC-X697 and 4 KFC-C6895PS Performance Series speakers. They are just hooked up to the speaker outputs for the moment so I have tunes.
Tomorrow I am going to a local junk yard (I believe the cheapest in the known universe) to get the 60/40 split seat with fold down storage for 40 bucks. I am also grabbing the carpet out of it for ten. The cluster in the junked truck has a tach so I am getting that too. It is twenty bucks.
My truck is green with a grey interior. I have to redo the headliner. I did that once before in a 97 Mercedes C280. It turned out awesome. I am trying to decide whether to go with black diamond quilted material or black and white checkerboard.
Once I have the interior apart, I will install the amps, and I will have to get a truck box to put my subs in.
