Took the xlt and went and picked up its twin finally. Bought it a month ago and it got totaled going for accessories. Had to wait for them to find an exact same one, didn't even have the papers signed yet. I love when I bring her home covered in mud and leave her front and center in the driveway for all to see. My yuppie *** neighbors just don't get it. To me it's just as fun to admire my truck covered in mud after offroading as it is to see her all nice and clean.
Freeman Ha ha....no I was not trying to be sarcastic. It's kinda like a question I guess, because I know people who has done it. After washing their truck, they sit down and relax and just stare at the beauty of it all. I enjoy looking at my truck and other people truck too.
Front and center covered in mud for all to see? Ha ha ha....that is funny and its cool. I like that too. Do you have any pictures for all to see? I wanna see.

Bdukes55 Ha ha.... Hey now don't talk about pavement pounders...ha ha. The only mud my truck see is when I go to my Ma house and it has rained a lot. She live down a dirt road. The road going to auntie house is dirt too. Got any pictures to share of your muddy truck?

That's me too, except it's my own long gravel and dirt (that turns to mud) driveway. I've had a number of 4wd drive vehicles over the years and never been an off road type. Don't hunt or fish, maybe that's some of it. Plus I just like shiny stuff.

So why trucks and 4wd? I'm a hobbyist welder, carpenter, electrician, plumber, etc. and need a truck to haul stuff. I need 4wd because of living in the foothills in snowy NYS and needing to get to work even when the schools are down and the local roads aren't plowed. What I'm NOT is a yuppie!

We're now an all Ford family here. Wife just bought a new turbocharged Escape, and my kid has my old 03 Focus with the rare 2.3 liter motor. Vroom, vroom.

frank_a Ha ha...same for me too. I just like shiny stuff, I love chrome and I love trucks. As the song goes "There's something bout a truck." I do not have 4wd, never been off-roading, mudding, etc, and never haul anything, but I sure would love a Raptor.
You are a hobbyist welder, carpenter, electrician, plumber, etc. ? Do you have any pictures of your carpentry work? With your welding hobby, do you make any wrought iron, or any other stuff? Or do you use it for work, like to repair something?

I haven't done anything with my truck today. Not yet anyway. But my 6 year old helped me detail my wife's Edge. I loved it.
