We came home after 5 days at the lake. Two Corgis and a long haired Doxie shed like crazy. At home, unload the wife, doggies and gear - then pull off the sheet that covered the rear seat. Next get out the leaf blower to move all the dog hair outside. Truck interior is nice again and almost like new. One more task - wash the dog licks off of the rear windows.
All done now. Beer thirty here.

Hand washed mine for the first time since before I left for California two months ago. Needed it and next weekend I'll probably do an even better job before heading to college.

Get a real "California Duster" and you can do a 60 second dust. Unless the vehicle is muddy, wet or such, the dust wipes right off and looks like it just came out of the car wash.
Just beware - many imitations that are not good. I bought mine in 1988 and it is still awesome.

I have one and still haven't used it once. Mine seems to always have bugs and mud since it's used for work.

It won't do much for the bugs but no damage either. Just shake it out after doing each panel and the truck will look much better.
I sometimes go for several weeks without a wash and truck always looks clean.
I normally dust the truck every day or at least every 2 days.
Give it a try.

Maybe when I head off to college I'll give it a try. Here at work it'd just grab dirt and scratch my paint so I'll just use a hose for now.

Made my truck work Saturday. Went out to our property to set up a stand, check the trail cameras and cut up a red oak tree that broke. I had to make multiple trips through the property with bed loaded with 20" pieces of red oak to the trailer and unload, then go back for more. Would have been nice to bring the trailer up to where the tree was, but it wouldn't have survived the creek crossing. That crossing has 10 to 12 degree banking on both sides. My hitch dragged in the sand with a load in the bed.
marrs1721 What does it look like? Any pictures?

Sorry no pics. It looks fantastic though, and even better at night. Looks like it was made that way. Makes your truck more visible. If you have the time I highly suggest doing it. I am in no way a mechanical guy so I was very hesitant, but was able to do it.
