Heres a couple pics of the new CB antenna I got awhile ago. They're 6ft not sure I like them around town anyway, they hit all the low hanging tree branches. I still have my 4 footers though just in case i decide to switch back. The qualitys probably not the best I took em with my new hpone to try it out, and the trucks a bit dirty i cleaned it all up on saturday and it rained sunday go figure lol.

The original 'whip' antennas for CB were 102". Then they started base-loading `em and they got shorter. There is a particular length for each wave length that is optimal. Shortening the stick and either wrapping it or base loading it is not as efficient.

Haha I what one so badly but idk how it would look like on my 2wd.... I don't what to be a poser. But my buddy had like a 12 ft one and snapped like 10 mons after he put it on

HAHAHA knew id get some laughs, no the point of them is I got them as a gift and didn't want to make the person who got them for me feel bad. So I put them on. I had my other ones off at the time and they'd noticed and got me new ones, like a said over the top but eh they were free. Funny because I took the original ones off (the 4 footers) so I would be able to go through the drive through at the bank and forgot to put them back on lol. No I'm not against cells I actually just got the Samsung Galaxys3 lol love all the jokes I expected it. Like I said over the top but looking ridiculous is a small price to pay for not hurting the womans feelings.
