What can I expect from an Ford F150.
I have been a car/suv person in the past and have never own a Ford truck. I was introduced by a friend to F150 and after seeing a crewcab I was amazed how spacious the backseat space is, and now I am wanting an F150.
I currently own a 06 Honda Pilot and 08 Honda Accord. These 2 vehicles have been very reliables, the only maintenance costs to me were regular oil/filter change, and a timing belt change on the Pilot. Can I expect the same kind of reliability from F150?
PS. I am not bragging about Honda, it's an honest question.
Thanks

Maybe.
Mine have been good, but your experience may be different.

as a ford and acura/honda owner i expect about the same from both. note that the truck is heavier and requires brakes more frequently. 15-40k miles between front changes in my experience. i have had 6 ford rangers from model years 1988-1999. all served me well except the 2 that were totaled. my 05 xlt screw was bought used at 26k miles and went to 252k without any major repairs. except frequent front brakes. sold at 279k miles for the new truck. biggest reason for sale was i wanted a new 14 lariat heavy duty and no place to keep the 05. we still have the 2007 acura tl we bought new in 07. has 189k and nothing but maintenance. i had a 06 civic coupe i got by default cause the cousin we tried to help didn't give us the payments. traded it for a 09 civic si i drove 120k miles before selling. long story short is my experience with my ford trucks is the same as my experience with the acura/honda. well taken care of vehicles last till i get bored and want a new one. and my wife still refuses to change her tl for anything else.

You are comparing apples to oranges, my daughters 08 CRV has been 70K flawless. My 13 on the other hand, has had some issues. My point is, they are non comparable. My 13 was my first new truck purchase, my previous trucks: 1 SWB Chevy Scottsdale, 1 SWB Chevy Silverado, 3 F150's 89, 05 and 08 were all purchased used. My 13 with the problems I have experienced have made it a disappointing purchase.

It's a loaded question, especially when asked on a forum. People go to forums to vent. A small number go to learn. Therefore, the overwhelming majority of people on a forum have problems (some have psychological problems too, but that's a different thread)...
My 2013 F-150 with 20,000 miles has had two oil changes. Boy am I pissed...

Power under your foot
Peace of mind and confidence of having one of the most capable line of trucks on the market
And expect to be a father soon, because the women won't leave you alone.
(I prefer checks, thanks Ford)
Serious note, 200k on my 07 and she still sings

The fuel consumption will be a shock after driving small cars. But compared to trucks of just a few years ago even the biggest trucks are much better than they were.
Parking at the mall will be a shock.
At some point when you sell or trade the value will be a shock. Trucks as a rule hold much more of their initial value down the road.
I've owned every major truck except Nissan over the years as well as cars or SUV's by most makers. The odds are pretty good that any domestic truck or car will require more work to last long term. Not that I expect any major issues. I would have bought a Tundra if I did.
