Nope. These are big trucks that aren't going to improve much upon the mpg's they got when you bought your truck. You could add a few things that are going to gain you 1 maybe 2 mpg's, but you're going to pay over $1000 combined so it'll take you years in gas savings to actually recoup that money spent. Mod your truck because you want better performance and drivability and you won't be unhappy.

Is it true Acetone may help with better combustion, therefore, become more efficient?

I seems me that acetone might some rather serious side affects. Remember when ethanol polluted gasoline first came out. Some cars had their rubber fuel lines eaten up, so all of a sudden you have fuel dripping all over everything, I personally know of a couple of cars that burnt to the pavement because of this. German cars where terrible. The new models had better fuel lines installed but the one already on the road needed to have every bit of their flexible fuel lines replaced. I owned VW's at the time and I had to do this change out on several VW's. Acetone is even a stronger solvent then ethanol, and the vapors are toxic.

Here is an interesting site that discusses gasoline, Methanol, and Nitromethane;
