Traded my 2015 crewcab Lariat in for a 2017 regular cab XL, the new truck is lightning blue in color and I would like to wrap the chrome bumpers. Is anyone aware of a vinyl wrap that would match the 2017 lightning blue color?

I contacted the sales team at metrorestyling.com but they did not know of a close or exact match.

Yes, keep us posted. I just got an STX Lightning Blue but would like to wrap the handles.

Are you going to sand the texture off the handles or wrap over it?
I bought PTM handles and mirror caps for my 2017.

Thanks, I will get pics up soon. I think my first plan is to buy a full set of handle covers (4 for the door and 1 for the tailgate even though it wont be the buckets) and 2 mirror caps and paint them myself with adhesion promoter, primer and paint from automotivetouchup.com.

I got the samples in and I think I found the closest match I could find, although I think its not as deep in color (dark) as the factory lightning blue.

3 of the 6 samples, other 3 were way off in color

This is Hexis skintac gloss pitch blue metallic.

Just a hint.

If you punch a dime-sized hole in your sample, and lay it over your paint, it seems to make it easier to read the colors.

Got this hint from a body shop that was mixing up Ruby Red Metallic for me for a small part they were doing.
