To slightly hijack this thread, what do you consider "regularly towing"? Would 1/2 your truck's miles towing be "regularly towing"?

I would call towing the travel trailer once a week, 'towing regularly'. If it is the daily driver and at least half the miles are towing at least half the truck's capacity, I would consider that, 'heavy towing'.

oh I like the 6.2L, it’s a workhorse but it drinks a bit of gas in the city but getting around 15 and 17 on the highway though.

I think 15 to 17 mpg on the highway is fantastic for a truck that size.

Thanks for the reply. During September thru December, almost all of my miles are towing, since I go to all of my team's home games (430 miles round trip), plus several road trips, including this year to Tallahassee, FL (FSU) I'll probably have to stick with my Heavy Duty packaged F150 now. I'm retired so don't want to start a new truck payment plan.

There are quite a few. Your best bet would be the powerstroke forums. I could get you a list if needed. Just sold my 09 F250 and bought a 15 F150 Lariat Sport

I think the 3.5TT with Max Tow and HDPP and 3.73's is great for your camper size and towing amount.
