To Gease a UJ or not that is the question
I have always replaced UJ's with greasable ones. I was looking at the sealed UJ,s and I got too thinking do the sealed UJ's last as long as the greasable ones. What say you out there in F150 land.

U-joint, Tie rod ends, and other greased parts should have zerk fittings on them. If they don't I find another supplier. (Moog normally works)

I've always 'felt better' about having a grease-able fitting but...realistically, the non-grease-able ones have the same life under normal circumstances.
You just....FEEL good about giving things a shot of grease every now and then though, you know?

Not only do you feel better about giving them a shot of grease, but it's a reminder to crawl underneath and look at things now and then.

That is exactly the way I feel There is no real difference in the price. I am going to redo my drive shaft this next weekend, weather permitting, and I will do the greasable ones as always. I want to replace the carrier/center support bearing but I understand that it is a press fit so I will leave it alone for now, it isn't bad I just wanted to rebuild the whole drive shaft.

Some of my earliest memories are of helping my dad grease 'zerks'. How I LOVED that word as a little kid! Dad taught me a lot about cars (miss you, dad!) and instilled a life-long respect for things mechanical.
I wrote an article for ROAD&TRACK here a few months ago that was published, talking about how I really believe that complex mechanical devices like cars, boats, planes, etc actually take on a life of sorts, and have a certain sentience. Any gearhead will SWEAR on a stack of Bibles that cars seem to KNOW a good owner from a bad one.
A well-maintained car is a 'happy' car.

So, on a 2010 Ford F150 Regular Cab, are they sealed or greasable???
