2017 and 2018 Raptors built before 2/26/18 have plastic oil pans and 2018 Raptors built after 2/26/18 have metal oil pans. Some people have said that the oil pick up tube is different for the metal pan. Could you check the pick up tube part #s to verify if they are different or not? Thanks, Mike

they are indeed different as well as the plastic pan has an additional "stiffener" piece that is between the block and the pan. and the parts won't interchange

2013 3.5 Ecoboost - I had a P0299 code (turbo underboost). 5k miles left on powertrain warranty...dealer replaced a wastegate solenoid and a turbocharger bypass valve. The solenoid was covered by warranty, bypass valve was not. How is this not considered "powertrain"?

just like a throttle body isn't considered powertrain, makes no sense at all

This is prolly a long shot since this is more of service issue than a parts/warranty issue, but I'll ask and any info I get above and beyond what I have now is gravy!

So, thread linked below. My 2018 XL with the 101A pkg has a weird glitch that will not let me get into the auto-lock menu feature. Some have posted that some '18s have it, some don't. Made a service appt today and the service writer (not the technician) seemed dubious that a reflash would "fix" the error. Best guess?

Thx!
