Default Unexpected Ford service today

Took my truck in today for its second oil change. This is my local dealer, not the one I bought the truck from. About twenty minutes after I left I started hearing a strange noise, could not figure it out as it was not all the time. It's was raining and windy and it sort of sounded like an air leak from a window but they were all up all the way. Got home a decided to see what it was like in the morning after the weather got nicer. Sitting in the house it dawned on me what it was, a skid plate dragging. I go out and sure enough it is dragging. I was going to fix it myself but seeing it was raining I gave the dealer a call to see what tools I needed to reattach it so I did not have to crawl under it twice. The manager asked where I lived, I told her and she said she was sending a tech out to my house to fix it!!! That to me is above and beyond.

Certainly was good of them to come take care of it, BUT they are the ones that did not properly button it up after the oil change.

What truck do you have? Curious as I don 't drop the skid plates on my 13 FX4 when I do an oil change. Just interested.

I drop them on most fx4 and all economist to help save clean up time. Or else the customer will drive home and see oil leaking from the tray. But I personally use not just my fingers to do those quarter turn things

If I took a crap on the OP's floor I would probably get marks for using Febreze afterwards...

Default Some of you guys are harsh

Yes they messed up but how many dealers would send someone to fix it?

Oh, by the way Biff. If you did that to my floor I might give you high marks for the use of febreeze, When you used it after you cleaned up your crap, blood, skin and what ever else of you that needed cleaning up after I got done with you. There was no need for that type of post by you.

Do posters only enjoy reading bad things and not the good?
