1 mpg really isn't that far off.
Its actually the gallons that are off. The truck always takes more that the readout says has been used. Speedo could contribute but in this day and age, you would expect more accuracy while realizing its not a scientific instrument.


I had a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. Same situation, mpg was about 1 over estimated on display.
