Problem being P.T. Barnum was right. There's a sucker born every minute.

You haven't done the lawn chair mod yet?? Adds 5 horsepower and you lose 200 pounds of weight. I got 5 mpg better after that

What makes you think it is a King Ranch?

Ray Charles can see that it isn't.

Buck your a friggin Jerk!!! I didn't say I thought it was a King Ranch. I was only asking what there was about this truck that made the OP think it wasn't because I didn't know what all was included in the 2001 King Ranch package that made it diifferent from an XLT

...because I own a King Ranch. I've loved those things from the first time I saw them;the Estate Green is still my favorite.

It's just it's a waaaaay over-the-top exaggeration, the guy running the ad is either a real moron or con artist. The leather King Ranch seats essentially define the trim package. It's kinda like someone handing you a glass of Mountain Dew and telling you it's Coca Cola, it's that level of ridiculousness.

...or putting a "GT" badge on a 4 cylinder Mustang.
For that matter, calling a 4 cylinder Mustang a Mustang...

they never made a Mach 1 convertible and the real Mach 1's had a different engine completely. I politely emailed them pointing it out in hopes of it being a misunderstanding but nope, they were definitely out to screw someone.
Works both ways, I got my Mach 1 from a Ford dealer that advertised it as a GT. Yes I've got the R code vin and the 32 valve all aluminum engine that GT's never had.
