Commercial Sandlasting bay and about an hour to blow everything out after. Actually wasn't too bad. Taped up the vents on the cowl and it was blasted while up in the air with a heavy commercial canvas tarp over it. My buddy has done lots of them and he's perfected his technique.

Not quite together yet, decided it's time for a 31" spare on a factory wheel. Now I've done it before but it's a tight fit with the factory spare tire hanger bolts. I always struggled getting a 31" spare under there and often wondered what'd be like getting it out of there in the dark on the side of the road. Plus I found that the hanger was so tight against the spare that it would dent the sidewall. So for this truck, I cut and lengthened the factory bolts. Then glass beaded them and dropped them off at a buddy's for a ceramic powder coat so they don't rust. A nice coat of Never Seize will help as well.
