When I first started college, I had a little 1970 Opel Kadett coupe that was really in bad shape; faded green with missing trim pieces, dents in the doors and rear panels, cracked windshield, rotten floorboard (could see the street through the floor...lol) and so forth but it ran great. At the time, I was broke so a friend of mine gave it to me for free so I could get to school. Then one day when I was in class, I come out to find that somebody decided to carve the "f" word across the faded metal hood with very large letters (never understood the reason for doing it as the car looked bad enough by itself).
I drive it home and my Dad was like "get that thing off my driveway...lol" so I decided to get a can of black spray paint to try and paint over it. That just made the "f" carving stand out even more...lol. I wish I took a picture of it because it was pretty funny; but boy, that really was one ugly looking car.
Just for information, this is what is was supposed to look like but mine was pretty much an eye sore...lol.
I finally got a job soon after and got rid of the car (sold it for $200 and gave the money to my friend).
