Hmmmm. I am glad I didn't wait, and went ahead and bought the Ecoboost.....

I really wanted to wait to. This is at best a well placed bunt, not a homerun, which I was honestly hoping for. The same ol engines, no matter how much direct injection, or cylinder deactivation they slather on them, just don't do it for me.

I tow a 24 foot camping trailer quite a bit. I need torque, and the lower down the better. I just don't think the new updated (Chevy) engines are going to be enough improvement to compete. We will see, since they are pretty hush on that at the moment.....

Looks like the cabs got smaller too. See the size of the rear door? Looks like the Dodge's. Also rode in the back of a GMC 2500 crew cab and could barely fit in the back seat. My truck and my buddies F250 Crew cab is by far more roomier!

The chevy/gmc guys here all thought it was the best looking chevy ever.
I pointed out the dash looked like the F150 and they said I was blind.
LOL

Could definitely do with a new dash layout, headlights, and a bumper sans step. Those headlights are just awful and i've never been one to criticize interiors until now.

The OP says they are different..... LOL

I think it looks good. Waiting to see one in person though.

And the GMC looks much nicer than the Chevy, but that's nothing new.
