Hmmmm. I am glad I didn't wait, and went ahead and bought the Ecoboost.....
I really wanted to wait to. This is at best a well placed bunt, not a homerun, which I was honestly hoping for. The same ol engines, no matter how much direct injection, or cylinder deactivation they slather on them, just don't do it for me.
I tow a 24 foot camping trailer quite a bit. I need torque, and the lower down the better. I just don't think the new updated (Chevy) engines are going to be enough improvement to compete. We will see, since they are pretty hush on that at the moment.....

Looks like the cabs got smaller too. See the size of the rear door? Looks like the Dodge's. Also rode in the back of a GMC 2500 crew cab and could barely fit in the back seat. My truck and my buddies F250 Crew cab is by far more roomier!
