Two toned the truck...what do you think?

Thanks for all the kind words. Next is the bedliner, I think I'm going to use the same stuff (u-pol raptor liner) to spray in. My only hesitation is I know all the ones done by a shop are 1/8-1/4 thick and very durable...in my S-10 I had rhino liner professionally sprayed and it took a few years and ALOT to scratch or pull up any of the bedliner. The raptor liner is $109 plus shipping for a kit that contains 4 containers, a gun and hardener...which works out to be a gallon of product. They say a gallon does a standard 6ft bed, but I think if that's all I use the first time I throw a pallet in there it'll scratch...so I'm thinking of buying 2 kits and doubling up on the liner...even at $220 plus shipping that's still half the price of what shops around here want for a spray in liner.

Very nice work! My 2012 is a plain white billboard (other than the gold 4x4 Off Road decals and matching hand-painted pinstripe the dealer did for free.99) and I want to eventually do the same thing as much for the aesthetics as the rock chip protection. Thanks for pictures.

Just remember, prep is EVERYTHING! I prepped by sanding, roughing the paint, and getting off any rust spots I could from Friday after work at 6 until 10pm, then Saturday in the afternoon, and even sanded some more on Sunday before I applied the raptor liner...then of course wiped it down with acetone to remove any grease or debris. A good rule of thumb is once you've prepped and sanded to the point where you think you've done enough...do it a little more.

I would encourage you to really consider Line-X for the bed. Yeah it will cost twice as much, but it might be worth it, depending on how you plan to use the truck and how long you plan to keep it. The Raptor is pretty good stuff for a DIY product, but it really doesn't compare. I sprayed my car with it. 2+ coats. It has held up pretty well, but it still has chipped in places and cracked in one spot. Having had that two year experience with the Raptor bedliner, I opted to have my truck bed sprayed professionally with Line-X. Knowing that you can take it back and have it repaired for free if it ever chips is worth the added cost in my opinion, plus I think it is a superior product.
The two tone looks nice. And I think the Raptor is probably the best DIY product. Just wanted to throw in my $0.02.

I actually REALLY appreciate that input...the biggest reason I haven't sprayed it in yet is because I have been trying to decide whether to pay the extra to have it done professionally or do it myself...it's good to hear from someone who has done what I was thinking of doing in regards to spraying 2+ coats.
Thank you very much for your input.

Man did I find a SMOOOOKIN deal on rhino lining. I know that most recommend line-x, but I as well as my brother both have experience with rhino liner and we've both been more than pleased. At any rate, 15 franchised locations in the Indiana and Ohio states are running a current coupon of $200 off any rhino lining service. I called the Springfield Ohio location to verify the validity and the guy said it's a valid coupon. Their normal price for a 6ft F-150 bed is $499....so for $299 I'm getting a full rhino liner with lifetime warranty. Can't beat that...I was gonna pay around $250 to get two kits of the raptor liner and spray it double the thickness myself...with no warranty!
