Gold Class Wash also, I use Dawn before I wax then Meguiar's or Mothers Clay Bar, but I still use the Meguiar's detailers mist for a Lubricant.
Just so you know dishwashing detergent, especially Dawn removes all wax from the vehicle leaving completely unprotected from everything.
I think I am going to have to get some of that Ceramic Spoat
I started using the #7 Mirror Glaze years ago on my True Blue F-150, continued on my 2010 and 2013 Mustang, Below is the 13 before I put the Gold Class on top

I use Blue Coral car wash, PTFE boat polish followed by Carnauba Sealant. This is a pic from 2 weeks ago (it was dusty again in like 6 hours) still looks like new after 4 years.

TB looks great, but deer tend to like it too. Both my Flex and my F150 were TB and Both had a deer run out in front f it, and Both were later totaled in a winter storm. Guess for me TB is a jinx I really liked it though, had 4 vehicles in that color.

And when you are in Construction TB is about as hard to keep clean as black.

I am going to do my Agate Black F150 this week and curious what your guys process was? This is what I am planing on doing:
  • Foam Cannon Truck
  • Hand wash truck and not dry
  • Use Adams Iron Remover and rinse
  • Use Adams Clay Mitt and Detail Spray
  • Wipe down and do isopropyl 50% and wipe
  • Turtle Wax Seal N Shine Hybrid Sealant (great video here on comparison)
Thoughts?

I use Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo, its not super sudsy, but contains coconut oil and its very slick. I also use a Claymitt when I wash as it cuts down on steps. If you plan to chemically decontaminate, I would do it before washing and claying. Spray the iron emulsifier first, then do the wash/clay step. After that, the finish should be free of contaminants. for a spray on Sio2 aplication, I prefer McKees SiO2 Blue spray.

I also have CarPro reset, which is an intensive oil remover. For a dark truck, a liquid sealant after the polishing step, something like Pinnacle or McKees High Def Paint sealant will last.

Most of the premier brands owned by PBMG/Autogeek like Pinnacle, Wolfgang, and McKees are formulated to be used in hot environments. I've been using them for almost 20 years. They can be a few dollars more, same for Sonax and CarPro but I have found that the results are typically worth it.

As for using SiO2 Blue over the three shown in the video, its much simpler to use. The Megs Ceramic Hybrid is good, but can be finnicky on the first application. McKees is 1-2 spray per panel when wet and blast off and truck the car.

True, but even dirty it is no where near as bad as solid black. Somewhere I have a picture where it wasn't washed for a week and even with dust all over it, it looked good. Metallic does wonders for that.

Jescar powerlock plus sealant and collinite 845 is all you need. The turtle wax and meguiars hybrid ceramic sprays are not very good. I will sometimes use the megs ceramic spray as a drying agent after i do a maintenance wash but it doesn't last very long and not worth the $12 in my opinion
