Turning left , pop clunk noise ?

Hi all!

First post and first time Ford/trucker owner !

Have a 2017 Lariat. Brand New picked it up a week ago.

When I turn left sometimes I hear/ feel a clunk and pop in the front left wheel area.

Also when I go over big potholes , I can hear and feel the pop or clunk.

Will take in soon but with with only 800kms what the hell could have failed ???

Bump :)

Could it be your hubs activating due to vacuum loss? Seems a little too early for your CV's, balljoints, or tierods to be going out.

Could be a loose coilover.

Things like this happen with anything made by man. It doesn't happen often, but unfortunately it happened to your truck. And, it's happen to me and many others over the years. Take her in, the dealer will fix you right up. Congratulations on the the new Lariat, and welcome to the forum.

Thanks all.
I searched and didn't find anything online and it seems it's not common

Will report back when I take it in!

If you have a torque wrench check the lug nuts on that wheel. But as others said let the dealer figure it out. I bought a dodge Dakota in 1994, drove it for 6 months before the issue I had was traced back to not having the main engine to engine mount bolt installed. Lol

Sorry to resurrect this thread but did you ever find out what this was? Experiencing something similar. Thanks.

I had what I think as a similar noise , turned out that when I turned the wheel the outside corner of the tire would catch just enough mud flap to to make a clunk type of sound , an easy fix ,had to laugh at myself because of all the worse case scenarios I had imagined . Stock 20 hankook tires and Weathertech mud flaps
