Turn Signal indicator fast flash, bulbs and lights work normally - CLS54 issue
Hi all,
Just got back from the dealer and have an interesting electrical problem. My cabin right turn indicator blinks fast as if there is a bulb out, but lights are working normal (not hyper flashing). Dealer did the following:
IDS Self test for code found BCM code pop up. Tech check on WSM 417-01 turn signal and hazard lamps PPT D follow PPT D1 - D 14 and found circuit CLS54 from BCM to RH rear lamp connector is high resistance (Open Wire).
Seems clear there is a short somewhere, anyone have advice on where to look? I assume its between BCM and rear passenger lamp? Dealer wants $700 to diagnose and fix the wire.... I will happily go on a treasure hunt for free
Appreciate the help.

Is the tail light in question working? If so was that bulb replaced recently? If yes was it replaced with the proper bulb? Is the proper bulb in there to begin with? I would start checking obvious things 1st, all connections leading from that tail light are clean, no tell tale signs of corrosion in the connectors and are dry and no signs of loose or poor contact in the connector? Any obvious damage or spots that look like they have been pinched any where a long the harness?

Hmmm. 2017 Platinum?!
If this isn't covered under warranty, you need to go to a different dealer, or buy a Chevy.

I am at 37k mi so i have the dealer opening a case for me..... I think its absolutely insane that they won't just take care of it being 1k out of warranty, but for now looking to try and diagnose myself in hopes its easier than what I was told.
Appreciate the responses y'all!!
