It's not that bad! I have driven in the rain, at night, on the Queen's Express Way(Canada, Toronto)at 70mph. And I was getting passed like it was the Indy 500!

Buying a bike is not the answer.. Hell it would take 10 years to break even at current gas prices buying a bike and riding it EVERY SINGLE day.. Ya'll should listen to Dave Ramsey on talk radio.. He makes some great points and is usually right on the money. The other day a guy was talking about buying a scooter and using it. After getting all the info like current vehicle's fuel mileage, how far does the person drive a month and so on. Dave did the math and a 1600.00 scooter was going to take the guy over a year to break even on at current fuel mileage. Thats with the scooter getting 90MPG. Then Dave brought up a god point. Thats riding it every single day every mile you would drive your regular vehicle. Winter, Summer, Rain or shine. No one is going to do that if they have a climate controlled vehicle or even a one with a broken ac. So figuring that he said it would take over 2 years to recoup the cost of a 1600.00 scooter. The best thing to do if you want to save on gas is trade your truck for something of equal or lesser value that gets better mileage. Other than that don't complain. The opportunity is out there to get better mileage if its that important to you. I bought a truck. If I want to get better mileage I will drive the 'Stang. IT sits in the yard 99.9% of the time because I love my truck.

A very valid point, NGM!

I already own a motorcycle, so there is no additional cost for me to make up.
