Default True Duals

How much does the pipe size on your duals matter. What sound will I get out of a 2.5" pipe VS 2.25" pipe? And how can I get a deeper, lower tone sound, still being Loud. PS i wont be running a muffler. any help is appreciated

the bigger the pipe usually puts out a deeper tone ...the smaller pipe usually puts out a raspier tone..i dont know if the 2 have much difference though...if you want deep, go 3" pipe..the only problem with that is(if it is a newer model, fuel injected) it might throw engine codes unless you tune for it..

I think I'm gonna go 2.5" b/c that's what size pipe I have now on my SI/DO flowmaster and I have the tips for 2.5", so that'll just save me money. Thanks
