Truck of the year!
Motor Trend named the 2018 F 150 truck of the year! Of course, this is the same mag that named the Vega, Citation, Mustang II, Renault Alliance and others car of the year, so I'm not sure how much it means!

Thanks for posting, I don't visit the 2015+ threads so I didn't see this.
But I agree with Jfkmk, this is kind of just a "fluff" award. If Ford, GM, Ram, Nissan and Toyota all launched major and minor changes during the same year it might be worth considering, but after following the MT awards for a couple decades they always just award it to the truck that has the most sales that is also the newest for that year. So the F150 was a shoe-in for this year. My crystal ball says that the Silverado will win it in 2019.
