07 F150 4x4 5.4 115000 miles developed skip. Gas milage dropped. Diagnostic indicator light showed sporadic misfire and driver side converters oxygen sensor showed fault. Changed plugs and it is still skipping. Computer would not show which coil pack was misfiring. Front cylinder and back cylinder on drivers side showed some misfire and were changed. Truck is still skipping. Help! Anybody got any ideas?

 

If the O2 sensor is faulty dont you think it should be replaced?

 

i had a similar problem and had to take the truck to the dealer for a more thorough investigation because autozone obd2 tool couldn't tell me which coil was bad.

 

replaced both O2 sensors on drivers side today. problem solved.Thanks
