I would NOT take on another payment. Spend that money on other stuff. Anything that sparks your interest.
Back in 1995 I bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler. I daily drove that Jeep for 20 years. Just about a month ago I bought my 02 F150 and now the Wrangler is going to be a resto project for my son and I. I will drive it to work with the top off on nice days and next winter I'll pull the motor and trans and rebuild them.
Friends used to ask me all the time why are you driving an old Jeep every day. My answer, because I'm using the payment money for other things. I restored my 72 Z/28 with the money I saved by driving my old Jeep.

Honestly if I was in your shoes and I had paid off truck with only 45k miles on it I would take what you were paying for a truck payment and split it in 2.
The first half I'd stick in a savings account and the second half I'd take and use for fun money / mods / whatever the heck you wanted.
It'll all add up pretty quick and you're use to not having it anyway.
Freshen the truck up with some new tires and or rims, or some other smaller mods to give it a new feel again and just enjoy knowing you are driving something that is 100% yours. I'm pretty jealous!
I'm hoping mine sits around 50k miles when its paid off as well and I will be doing exactly what I just described to you when that happens....so long as life doesn't get in the way

I most definitely will be saving money. I was paying 700 a month. I think I am going to just wait until it hits 100k miles then start over with a new one. Less than a year ago I put new Hankook Dynapros so im good for awhile in the tires and wheels dept. But I am definitely lifting it as soon as the tires wear out some. Got my eye on a 4" BDS lift. As for guns and ammo.... need more guns and ammo lol. No one has too many guns and ammo. I'm actually in the process of building a 6.8 AR for piggies in Texas.
The only gripe I have is that I get like 14 MPG combined. And since its my DD, its starting to get real old putting $100 a week in gas. Thanks for all the comments gents. Ill get some pics up as soon as I can.
