Ok, I've noticed the fact that some people on this forum own trucks that are their rival sports team's colors based off their associated decals, license plates, or the fact they come right out and say they're a huge fan of such and such team. Am I the only one that finds this odd?

Now, I'm not talking about someone who has a favorite team in several different sports/leagues that probably incorporate several different colors amongst them all. I fall into this category. I'm talking the diehards of only one team that end up getting a rival team's color truck. Ex. knew a huge FL state fan who got a "gator blue" as he called it (really Blue Flame) truck and I've noticed that there are Auburn and FL fans on here that have red trucks (like AL or GA). Now I understand when people are buying used, or even if they're buying new off the lot depending on circumstances, you might have to settle on color. But my question is, do people take into account their sports team colors (or rival teams colors) in choosing their truck color?



Disclaimer: I have a red truck and am a ND Irish and FL Gator fan. However, I have a bajillion sports teams I follow in all different colors (some of which are red) so it's impossible to base my truck color decision on that. This is mainly meant for the people that are diehards of only one particular team.

I have a red truck and I am a diehard Steelers and Penguins fan. I have never picked a color based on what teams I root for. All though my last truck was black, it was a coincidence

Have you seen the member on here who bought the Steeler-wrapped F150? Not really relevant to anything, just figured you'd be interesting in looking at it if you haven't already seen it.

Ooo that reminds me I think there's a big Raiders fan on here that did say he/she intentionally bought black/silver trucks for that reason. That was awhile ago though

That's a sweet looking truck, but i don't think I would pay that much for it.
